Rhubarb and apple crumble pie
Ingredients
| 0.5 Kg | Rhubarb
|
| 0.5 Kg | Cooking apples
|
| 175 g | Brown sugar
|
| Juice of 1 orange
|
| 225 g | Plain flour
|
| 100 g | Butter
|
| 100 g | Caster sugar
|
Preparations
- Mix fruit and sugar in a bowl.
- Sieve flour, rub in butter, stir in sugar and cover with fruit.
Cooking
- In preheated oven at 220 degC (gas mark 7) for 20 minutes.
- Turn down oven to 190 degC (gas mark 5) for another 45 minutes.
